Horizon Biofuels, Inc. (HBI) was formed by a group of Nebraska and Kansas business people who believed that is was possible to manufacture a renewable energy source in the Midwest using locally grown and produced feedstocks.

We have been making biodiesel for use in our own equipment for over fours years, moving from small "home brew" batches to becoming the first commercial biodiesel operation in the state of Nebraska. We are now expanding our presence in the market by building a new, 6.2 million gallon production facility.
